During the current Coronavirus pandemic, many people have been staying inside out of fear of contracting COVID-19 through social contact. For me personally, however, the viral outbreak has been in the back of my head. I try my best to not let the fear and stress of the pandemic bog me down, and so I try my best to preoccupy myself with other activities and try to stay positive. However, I do understand the magnitude of the situation and it is hard to deny how many people it has affected during the past few months. This piece is meant to anthropomorphize the virus and represent it as a dangerous force that I try my best to keep away and ignore. But at the end of the day, I know that it is still outside and won't be leaving for a while.
